We are seeking exceptional, highly skilled individuals to join Japanese Client Services / Japan SEA Collaboration as full time consultants.


Recognizing the strong momentum of investment by Japanese companies’ in ASEAN, our Consulting groups in Southeast Asia and Japan launched a collaboration in 2012 to provide a wide range of business consulting services for over 100 Japanese clients across the region, including some of the biggest manufacturing companies in the world.

In response to the expansion of Japanese businesses in Southeast Asia, there have been numerous collaboration initiatives between Deloitte Southeast Asia and Japan since 2012. Now there are over 100 consultants of diverse nationalities across the ASEAN region focusing on Japanese clients. We also have a joint training program for new consultants, and through the engagements with multinationals and ASEAN companies, we are able to build their capabilities and experience and provide our people with meaningful experiences, and a unique career path.

  • Change Leadership: Leading or managing change within complex organizations, including the ability to develop change management strategies, identify & manage change risks & issues, and to operate/interact with project, program and business leaders. Environment in which change experience would be deployed includes strategy development, business process transformation, M&A and ERP implementation
  • HR Transformation: experience with enterprise wide HR Transformation, covering all aspects of HR Strategy, HR Process Reengineering, HR Service Delivery (including Shared Services, Centres of Excellence and Outsourcing), Organization Design, Talent Management and HR Technology
  • The Workforce Transformation offering delivers solutions to transform our clients’ workforces and workplaces for business success in this era of technology disruption. We enable our clients’ success in creating the very best workforce to achieve their business aspirations -providing end-to-end workforce lifecycle solutions.

 

Enough about us, let's talk about you

 

If you are someone with:

  • Successful candidates will have a recognized degree from a top-tier academic institution and have at least 3 – 7 years or more of proven business experience.
  • Experience in a management consulting firm or HR consulting organization is preferred. Candidates with experience in HR function processes, change management, organization design, talent management or leadership development are encouraged to apply
  • Experience and skills to drive insights, develop initiatives and engage stakeholders across different functions to set strategic directions and rationale that lead to operational change and execution
  • Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently;
  • Excellent problem solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines
  • Capable of working on multiple, overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in another language (i.e. Japanese) is an added advantage due to regional project requirements.
  • Must have full travel mobility and the right to live and work in SEA locations (i.e. Thailand/Vietnam/Indonesia).
