Work you will do

 

This role sits within the ESG Center of Excellence team in Bangkok and seeks to support all South East Asia’s ESG initiatives, with an emphasis on regional collaboration on eminence building, ESG product and pipeline development, project implementation and training for service offerings. As a senior member of the team, you will help drive the growth of our ESG business in the region and be responsible for the co-creation, sale, and delivery of ESG solutions.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the team to drive collaboration with key stakeholders across Deloitte South East Asia (this includes Consulting, Audit and Assurance, Risk Advisory, Financial Advisory, Tax and Legal leadership, local market leadership, subject matter experts, and relevant partners), and coordinate among stakeholders on the execution of relevant initiatives.

  • Set the eminence agenda with input from the Climate and Sustainability (C&S) program leadership team and drive that eminence agenda forward.

  • Manage the branding and marketing initiatives across the SEA region. This will include events, thought leadership, and external partnership, with the support from our internal client services team.

  • Collaborate with our marketing and PR partners on publicity and promotion of the initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the firm’s leadership and regional talent team on planning training initiatives to equip all Deloitte Greendot staff on C&S capacity.

  • Drive the development of all SEA go-to-market strategies, including pitching enablement, methodology, quality & risk management, and delivery.

  • Evaluate markets, assess market size, growth, segmentation and overall attractiveness, and assess strengths and weaknesses of market participants with an ability to provide strategic insights

  • Collaborate closely with ‘scale ups’ (focusing on FinTechs & GreenTechs) to enhance product value propositions, identify real pain points and growth opportunities.

  • Demonstrate experience in Financial Services, Fintech, and ESG. (Prior regional experience working in South East Asia is preferred).

  • Demonstrate track record of successfully supporting businesses from concept to commercialisation.

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 12 years of working experience preferably a balanced mix of consulting and industry experience.

  • University level degree with strong numerical, analytical and excellent story boarding skills.

  • Deep understanding on the climate and sustainability landscape in the Asia-Pacific region, with practical experience preferred.

  • Deep understanding of key ESG metrics and how to develop programs to achieve them.

  • Significant applicable experience in ESG market/industry, and to be accepted by internal and external customers as a ESG Subject Matter Expert.

  • Strong capacity and experience in internal communication.

  • Ability to articulate an eminence agenda based on understanding the firm’s priorities.

  • Ability to translate, clarify, generate, and capture ideas.

  • Ability to elevate ideas for intended audience.

  • Ability to make decisions with confidence based on analysis of available information to drive business success.

  • Ability to lead projects and provide strategic direction across the account to deliver a superior client experience.

  • Ability to project confidence, establish credibility with and influence clients at all levels.

  • Ability to leverage financial information and business case to build support for a solution.

  • Ability to adopt a global approach to networking, building eminence and assembling teams to best serve clients.

  • Ability to sell potential and current clients on Deloitte’s services and negotiate profitable transactions for the Firm.

  • Ability to advise the client to make decisions that positively impact return on investment; provides subject matter expertise on sector trends and leading practices.

  • Ability to generate innovative ideas and turn them into profitable business opportunities for our clients and the Firm.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills (including exposure to public forums / larger audiences).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in Thai language at business proficiency level.
