Work you’ll do
Projects will cover the following service areas:
- Credit management process, including qualitative review on policies and procedures.
- Risk management model development, maintenance, and validation including PD/LGD models, credit risk rating and scoring models by using statistical methodologies and tools such as SAS, Python, SQL queries
- Occasionally support our audit team to review quantitative models (especially PD/LGD models) developed differently for multiple industries such as banking, securities, consumer finance, personal finance, leasing, manufacturing, or conglomerates and provide essential comments on observations and findings to the client.
- Deliver qualitative and quantitative technical advices to the client.
- Market risk governance, including financial instrument (both plain vanilla and derivative) valuation
- Treasury management policies and procedures review
- Financial services regulatory and compliance services.
- Leverage technical capability to develop computational tools either for in-house uses or client services according to business requirements.
- Conduct quantitative analysis in the area of credit/market risk using either traditional approaches or advanced analytical processes such as machine learning.
- Assist managers in business development initiatives.
You will be expected to communicate closely with senior management and client personnel; assist in proposal development; mentor and develop junior team members; and maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial risk management methodologies, current corporate governance and regulatory developments/requirements, both locally and internationally

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Solid background in finance preferably with professional experiences in banks/financial institutions in quantitative-oriented roles i.e. market risk, credit risk, model validation or asset valuation.
- At least Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in appropriate quantitative disciplines such as financial engineering, economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, information technology or accounting. The candidate should be equipped with modest computational background with some statistics and econometrics knowledge.
- Modest experience in processing data with tools such as SAS, SQL, Python are preferred. If professional experience is limited, this can be supplemented with an ability/wiliness to learn,
- Computer literacy in standard applications such as Microsoft Office is a must.
- Strong sense of client services, able to deal with multiple internal/external stakeholders.
- Be adaptive to work as a team-player with strong interpersonal skill and demonstrate a certain degree of self-initiation, having maturity reasonably expected from a professional, and respect commitments including targets and deadlines.
- Demonstrate multitasking ability and able to work in a high-pressure and dynamic environment.
- Good communication skills and well-verse in documentation in both Thai and English.
- For male, Certificate of Military Exemption is a must
