Work you will do
"Deloitte is growing its Strategy, Risk, and Transaction (SR&T) – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice in Southeast Asia. We work with senior executives of our clients on shareholder value, inorganic growth, and portfolio rationalization by offering financial, M&A, and debt & equity advice. Use deep analytics and AI to align deal strategy with corporate goals, maximize benefits, and support integrations, separations, and transformation.
The Transaction Diligence, Execution & Reporting team offers buy-side and sell-side diligence to help corporate, private equity, and government clients assess targets, identify risks, and inform price negotiations to maximize value during integrations or separations. For acquisitions, it identifies cost and growth synergy opportunities to support post-deal synergy goals. For divestitures, it helps sellers understand risks, preserve transaction value, and explore value-creation and non-complementary synergies with the remaining organization.
You will work alongside our clients to bring a rigorous, evidence based analytical capability to help them solve pressing and complex issues. This includes revealing insight and delivering value through pragmatic and actionable recommendations. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our clients to understand the forces that are driving change, identifying opportunities and develop solutions across the whole organization.
The nature of the work we do includes: "
• Work in collaborative team analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel.
• Participate in client presentations.
• Liaise with client executives, lawyers and financial professional as required.
• Identify issues, define symptoms and recommend solutions.
• Prioritize your objectives and contributes to project planning and status reporting.
• Analyze financial data, review accounting records and develop financial models.
• Assist senior members of the team to increase the profile of the team externally and internally.
• Support junior members of the team.
• Build and manage relationships with peers within other practice areas of Deloitte.
• Use available knowledge networks to extract relevant information for projects.
• Contribute qualifications, deliverables from projects to global knowledge database.
• Support documentation and sharing of lessons learned from each project."

Requirements
• Possess an undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials and a business focus.
• CPA, CFA, CF, MBA, or other equivalent designations (completed or in progress) are highly regarded.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a fast-paced or professional services environment.
• Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with the ability to conceptualize and present innovative ideas and practical solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in delivering compelling presentations and contributing meaningfully to team discussions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively in team-oriented settings.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, and capable of navigating dynamic and high-pressure situations with professionalism.
• High attention to detail and a meticulous work style.
• A high-performing, coachable team player who prioritizes continuous development, puts clients first, and exemplifies a values-driven mindset."
