Work you'll do

This role is with Deloitte Digital Southeast Asia. Across all clients and sectors, we believe great customer experiences create greater impact. Elevating the human experience creates enduring value—for the organization, the customer, society, and all.

We are looking for a Squad Lead / Technical Lead at Senior Consultant level to lead multidisciplinary delivery squads across customer experience, Martech, loyalty, and AI-enabled customer platforms.

You will act as a hands-on technical leader, guiding solution delivery, shaping implementation approaches, and working closely with clients to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical delivery across client engagements, ensuring solutions meet functional, performance, and security requirements
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solution designs
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client delivery teams
  • Guide teams in resolving complex technical issues involving internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders
  • Support architecture alignment with enterprise and platform standards
  • Ensure delivery quality through code reviews, design reviews, and engineering governance
  • Drive adoption of Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical estimation
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges across workstreams
  • Provide structured technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Design and oversee development of scalable solutions
  • Define integration patterns using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise-grade security, performance, and scalability standards
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Requirements:

 

  • 6–9 years of experience in software engineering or platform delivery
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or Squad Lead
  • Proven experience delivering solutions in client-facing or consulting environments
  • Strong experience leading delivery teams across complex, multi-system implementations
  • Deep expertise in at least one domain, with working knowledge across others:
    • Application Development
    • Mobile Development: Kotlin / Swift / Flutter
    • Backend Development: Node.js / GoLang
    • API and Microservices Architecture
    • RESTful services
    • DevOps & Delivery
  • CI/CD toolsExperience designing secure, production-grade applications
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced consulting environments
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
