Work you’ll do

Tax Senior is responsible for conducting tax work relating to reviewing Vietnamese individual and corporate tax returns as well value added tax and foreign contractor withholding tax, and other if assigned by managers and above; developing and supervising staff; ensure efficient delivery of tax services to clients.

Key Accountabilities

- Has a good working knowledge of Vietnamese market trends and their potential applicability to clients;

- Understanding of accounting, tax and commercial knowledge influencing Vietnamese tax and business transactions;

- Develops and maintains distinct relationships with peers at client organizations;

- Researches and recommends opinions and positions on tax issues to tax managers

- Identifies leads through existing relationships and exhibits the ability to make appropriate contacts.

- Identifies areas of engagement efficiency improvement.

- Demonstrates flexibility and exhibits good business sense, persistence, and determination.

- Communicates decisions and performance expectations clearly and keeps team members well informed.

- Provide timely guidance and direct feedback and mentorship that contribute to the ongoing development of the staff.

Requirements

Basic qualifications:

- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

- Strong experience in staff and tax management.

- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment

- Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.

- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.

- Dedicated to superior client service.

- Good English communications and skills, computer skills and competences

Preferable work experience:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting/Tax field;

- Previous experience in the same position.

- Experience working for Big 4 would be an advantage;

Education and Licenses:

- Bachelor degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Foreign Trade;

- ACCA/Vietnamese or foreign CPA preferred.
