JSG Manager

As a Manager within the JSG function, you will be responsible for the development of our business and our people. You will, along with other partners have primary accountability for all client relationships and engagements, developing the business strategy and making operational decisions to execute against it.
Responsibilities:
The focus of this role is to liaise, build strong relationships with Deloitte Japan Services Group (JSG) clients and targets, with support from local services team, regional and Global JSG teams where necessary. The incumbent will work cross functionally, as well as cross culturally, to provide a coordinated service to JSG clients. Reporting to Vietnam JSG leader.
- Client support activities
- Coordinate with clients’ headquarters in Japan and provide supports to client service teams (cross functions) on Japanese clients activities/projects in Vietnam; and their portfolio management
- Desktop analysis of Japanese businesses (financials, market trend, products, competitors) on behalf of internal contacts
- Prepare and submit the Japanese Clients services reports
- Coordinate and participate in events and eminent activities
- Participate in networking events within Japanese business associations in Vietnam
2. Business development
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the clients’ organization.
- Research and build relationships with potential clients.
- Set up meetings between decision makers and potential client service teams.
- Plan approaches and communicate with local client service teams to develop proposals that meet client’s needs and expectations from head quarter’s perspectives. Use technical and cultural knowledge, as well as soft skills, to persuade or negotiate appropriately with clients to win deals.
- Establish and maintain the relationships with key associations in Japan, e.g. business community associations, law firms, Japanese stakeholders etc., to identify and build long term relationships with clients and targets to identify and generate business opportunities;
- Maintain and enhance existing client relationships
- Perform other related tasks as and when assigned
3. Education and Qualification:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience, working in professional services, commercial or financial services environment (Big 4 experience is an advantage)
- Possess minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in related fields such as auditing, accounting, business, commerce, or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in business written and spoken Japanese and English
- Be flexible and outgoing; Good inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively as a team
- Good knowledge of research tools for analysis
- Knowledge and experience in Vietnam taxation/accounting is an advantage
