Senior Consultant - Audit & Assurance - IFRS Advisory

Work you'll do

 

Perform tasks/ assignment/ working plan assigned directly by Assurance Leader in Ho Chi Minh City. The work assigned can be either audit or assurance work.

 

Main duties:

 

IFRS Advisory

 

  • Assist clients in applying:
    • IFRS Implementation - Implement a new set of accounting policies from the existing policies and develop a solution to sustain the statutory report;
    • IFRS Conversion - Integrated the conversion process into existing for dual reporting purpose
    • IFRS Transition/Integration - Transit a newly acquired company into the acquirers accounting system (PMI Project)
    • IFRS Conversions for M&A transactions and for management purpose including statement completion review and bridging gap from the last date of the available report to the date of acquisition;etc
  • Advise and support clients in the preparation of IFRS financial statements and improving their financial reporting to investors.
  • Assist clients in improving and implementing efficient IFRS reporting processes.

 

Working management

 

  • Prepare for information/ documents/ reports under the tasks assigned of Teamleader/ Manager in charge of audit team, assign subordinates to prepare those document but must be ressonsible for quality/date of information/ document/ report under the requirements of Teamleader/ Manager in charge of team.
  • Perform complex and big accounting subjects depending on each specific customer;
  • Assist Team leader to review team memberss working paper, request subordinates to complete assigned subjects if they do not meet the quality review requirements and ensure that documents/file must be completed before the review of Team leader;
  • Make a summary report on work results and General analysis report after completion for evaluation;
  • Proactively assist Teamleader/Senior/ Manager in searching issues related to professional and technical knowledge through Vietnam accounting/ auditing system, current financial management regulations, DTTs database;
  • Assist Team leader in: (i) Completion financial obligations of  the Contract with the Company after providing service (issue billing request, documents, urge customer to pay); (ii)Completion administrative obligations with the Company after providing service (archive file, documents, reports, working papers in accordance with the current regulations of the Company)

 

Administrative management:

 

  • Administrative management to auditors who work under the allocation of Teamleader;
  • Evaluation of associates auditors on accordance with the Companys regulation dependent on each customer/task and each period;

 

Training and self-training:

 

  • Training/ guiding and sharing experiences with associates auditors through directly tasks or file review/ working paper;
  • Improving individual capacity in accordance with general development requirement of the Company, meeting the minimum requirement for training/self-training hours as regulated;

 

Communication in working :

 

  • Directly report to Team leader for relevant issues in the scope of work assigned;
  • Regularly keep in contact with customer in appropriate level to find out requirements/ questions of customers. Directly discuss problems with Team leader to solve timely the customers arising problems;
  • Regularly keep in contact/discuss/ with associates auditors to catch up with/solve problems arising. On behalf of associates auditors, senior auditors mention the relevant problems to Team leader so as to be solved/ supported;

 

Others:

 

  • Comply with regulations/rules of the Company;
  • Manage associate auditors under the allocation of the Team leader, create close working environment / spirit;
  • Proactively participate in social activities of the Company/ Division/Team, establish the balance between work and life for individual/ staff in the same team.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, auditing, finance, banking.
  • Have knowledge of IFRS implementation projects before this application
  • Experience with IFRS Adoption/Convergence is a credit
  • A least 2-3 years relevant experience.
  • Good communication skill, ability to work within a team, independent working skill.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Excellent English language skill, competent computer skill.
