Work you will do
This role sits within the Core banking offering, which is a part of the Technology, Strategy & Transformation team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, which focused on design and implementation of core banking platforms across Retail, SME, Commercial and Private Banking.
In this role you shall be responsible for the following:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of core banking implementation across multiple modules.
- Develop E2E delivery plan in conjunction with client and vendor partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including client stakeholders, core banking product vendor, and third-party vendors. Ensure regular communication and manage expectations effectively.
- Work closely with the core banking products vendor to ensure that products and services align with project objectives and timelines. Manage contractual agreements and service level expectations.
- Coordinate with Deloitte functional consultants, technical leads, and data migration teams to ensure alignment across workstreams.
- Provide hands-on support in technical discussions related to configurations, customizations, integrations, and data migration strategy.
- Drive quality assurance including SIT/UAT planning, defect triage, and go-live readiness.
- Track budget, effort, and resource utilization; provide regular status updates to Deloitte leadership as well as for all engagement governance forums as agreed with the client.
- Tracking overall progress and making adjustments as needed to keep the delivery on track
- Identify risks and issues, surface them to the program leadership and work with stakeholders to identify and execute mitigation actions

Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a technology or business discipline with a well ranked institution.
- 8 - 12 years' relevant experience
- Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Temenos Transact implementations or major upgrades for medium or large sized banks
- Delivery experience with clients in ASEAN is preferable
- Experience in delivering large scale Temenos Transact core banking implementations for Retail, SME or Commercial banking covering CASA, Deposits, Loans, Payments, Customer, Treasury
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of broader core banking technology landscape
- Understanding of the new age solution provider landscape and their capabilities across banking.
- Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources.
- Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams to shape up and deliver new opportunities.
- Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.

- An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a prerequisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
