This role sits within the Customer and Marketing (C&M) team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, which is a part of Deloitte that uses technology and creativity to better connect the customer with the business.

As part of Digital Customer Team, you will leverage insight-driven strategies and advanced technology solutions to energize sales and service operations for digitally powered growth and enhance our client’s customer relationships with immersive experiences powered by leading digital arts. Eighty percent of the customer moments that make up their brand happen in the sales and service experience. We not only help our clients to make those memorable for their customers, but we integrate their whole business around those moments—whether it’s a trip into their supply chain, logistics, and fulfilment, or advancing the customer mind-set of their employees and partners.

 

As a Scrum Master within the Digital Customer team, you are part of our Service Delivery Optimisation practice which guides our clients through the technological foundations of change with industry-leading services including Program and Project Management, Business Process Design and Agile or DevOps Delivery. You’ll help teams become high-performing and consistently deliver upon their sprint commitments through team level coaching, mentoring, and removing impediments from team members. You’ll:

  • Guide the scrum team on team organization on how to use scrum and Agile practices.
  • Oversee scrum process and mentor the team.
  • Facilitate transparency, inspection, and adaption.
  • Lead daily scrum, sprint review/demos, planning meetings, and retrospectives to ensure full team engagement.
  • Manage interdependencies between agile teams.
  • Work with the Product Owner to support short and long-term release planning to ensure a healthy backlog.
  • Shield the team from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.
  • Anticipate and addresses potential or actual impediments to team delivery.
  • Foster close cooperation across all team members; encourages cross-training and support.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems may be raised without fear of reprisal.
  • Administer and report on metrics tracking and other duties on behalf of the team.

Requirements

 

If you are someone with:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant software or engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant Agile / Iterative delivery experience in a consulting, digital agency or innovation firm, with at least a year as a SCRUM Master for a digital product development team.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as senior software engineer (full stack preferred).
  • First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I) is preferred.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Ability to identify and analyze a problem, propose solutions, and anticipate future problems
  • Self-starter that requires minimal supervision and can get things done by influencing others
  • Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology.
  • Ability to travel (both locally and abroad) to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
  • Fluent in English.
