Work you’ll do

• Leading transfer pricing engagements from planning through to implementation, including policy design, benchmarking analysis, documentation, advance pricing agreements and dispute support.
• Manages multi‑jurisdictional projects, coordinating with global offices and consolidating regional deliverables.
• Advising on complex cross-border transactions, including restructurings, mergers, acquisitions, and operating model changes.
• Partnering across corporate tax, GST, customs and trade, international tax and Deloitte’s global network to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Managing multiple client engagements, balancing quality, timelines, and team delivery.
• Adopting and implementing various technology solutions developed by Deloitte globally within transfer pricing. 
• Manage job economics including WIP monitoring, billing, collections, and engagement closure.
• Coaching and developing team members to support a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the growth of transfer pricing practice.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/ Economics/ Taxation from recognized universities or any professional qualification in similar disciplines.
• At least 5 years transfer pricing work experience, preferably in another Big4 firm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate in Mandarin/ Cantonese/ Japanese in addition to English and Bahasa Malaysia would be an added advantage. (While non-Malaysians may apply, please note that immigration formalities may take time)
• Competent in MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint. Operational knowledge of transfer pricing technology solutions like Workiva, Anaplan, etc. will be added advantage.
• Advanced project management skills including managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong inter-personal skills.
• Leadership and people management skills; able to work both independently and as part of a team.
