Work you’ll do

 

  • Manage accounts payable processes for all Malaysia entities
  • Process payments on time and regularly clear aged payables
  • Monitor the accuracy and approval for all suppliers’ invoices including advising GST tax codes
  • Ensure appropriate accruals and adjusting entries have been recognized on a timely basis
  • Monitor staff claims process and liaise with branches to ensure accurate claims records
  • Responsible for maintaining withholding taxes records and payments
  • In charge of online banking payment processes and regularly liaise with bankers
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and employee reimbursements matters
  • Establish and maintain good relationship with vendors and the internal shared services team
  • Ability to develop and execute relevant operation strategies to improve efficiency

Requirements

 

  • Degree in accounting or professional certificate such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  • 0-1 year working experience required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent command in English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to deal effectively with both internal and external parties.
  • Willing to learn and work as a team
