Work you’ll do
What will your typical day look like?
No two days are the same. As a Value Architect, you will play a key role in driving sales and service excellence by supporting solution design for large, complex deals. This is a client-facing position that requires close collaboration across business units to develop innovative, value-driven solutions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing end-to-end solutions that address client business requirements, integrating technology, process, and people dimensions.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives, and translating these into actionable solution architectures.
- Leveraging a strong understanding of BPO technologies and platforms—including CRM, ERP systems, workflow management, and automation tools.
- Assessing and optimizing solution costs to ensure value creation for both the client and Deloitte.
- Evaluating solution options, developing productivity roadmaps, and recommending preferred approaches to stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining solution architecture documentation, including design standards and digital intervention frameworks.
- Reviewing existing solutions to identify improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with evolving client needs.
- Setting architectural standards and best practices to guide solution development across teams.
- Partnering with cross-functional solution architects and development teams to promote consistency and best practice adoption.
- Contributing to the growth of Deloitte’s technology-enabled Operate offerings by working with a high-performing, collaborative team.
- Ensuring all proposed solutions meet required quality, security, and compliance standards.

Requirements
You are a solution architect and strategic thinker with strong analytical and consulting skills. You have an eye for detail but also the ability to see the bigger picture — connecting business needs with technology-enabled solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
You are someone with:
- Strong time management skills and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs across multiple priorities.
- Proven experience in selling, designing, or managing large-scale transformational projects for strategic clients.
- A consultative and value-oriented mindset, focused not only on cost optimization but also on experience improvement, growth enablement, and working capital efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse stakeholders.
- 10+ years of experience across Accounting/Finance, Finance Transformation, and Financial Systems roles.
- Sound understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud technologies, and data engineering.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures.
- Strong analytical capabilities — adept at connecting datasets, identifying insights, and informing business decisions.
- A motivated, energetic, and self-directed approach to work with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple business areas, geographies, and functions.
- Willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific region as per project requirements.
- Flexibility and adaptability to operate effectively across different cultures, time zones, and work practices.
