Work you’ll do

As the AWS Developer you will work closely with Cloud Platform teams, Developers, DevOps, and Operations to deliver secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure solutions on AWS. The core responsibilities will be as follows:

• Administer and manage AWS infrastructure, leveraging a strong understanding of core AWS services.
• Design and develop APIs to support automated provisioning and integration of cloud services.
• Apply Python programming skills to automate workflows, controls, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy secure, scalable solutions using AWS-native services.
• Promote an automation-first mindset, driving continuous improvement across infrastructure provisioning and application delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or relevant working experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• The candidate should have a foundation in cloud infrastructure architecture with hands-on experience in building, deploying, and managing secure and scalable solutions using core AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and RDS.
• Trained in Agile methodologies (preferably SAFe), and experience using Agile planning tools like Jira and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps is essential. The candidate should also be experienced in code management platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Confident in scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Perl, along with working knowledge of API development using .NET/C# or Python, and familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications are important.
