Work you’ll do

As the Cloud Engineer you will lead a team of engineers responsible for the design and execute a cloud-native deployment strategy, ensuring efficient and secure application delivery across cloud platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Stay up to date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices for hybrid cloud management.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for vulnerability management and timely patch deployment, minimizing security risks.
• Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of patching and cloud-native deployments into existing workflows.
• Implement automation tools and scripting to streamline environment build processes and cost management.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cloud migrations and deployments.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process optimizations.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
• Develop templates to automate infrastructure provisioning on Microsoft Azure using scripting language of your choice.
• Lead troubleshooting investigations to bring quicker issue resolution complex problems impacting our end users.
• Review application architecture reviews to recommend improvements for better reliability and application performance.
• Identify problems relating to mission-critical services and implement automation to prevent problem recurrence, with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement in the Azure platform and provide guidance to the team on the continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of Strong experience with experience on Azure technologies (Compute, network, storage, and data combination or any one skill)
• Proven experience in managing migration processes across hybrid cloud environments (On-Prem to Cloud, Cloud to Cloud, Version upgrades).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with cloud-native development methodologies (e.g., containers, Kubernetes).
• Excellent knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Understanding of database technologies (SQL/Cosmos/Mongo/PostgreSQL)
• Strong understanding of SharePoint Technologies – 2016. 2019 and SPSE
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Understanding of the Reliability and configuration management principles.
