Work you'll do
 

As the Cloud Engineer - you will bring your expertise on Azure\AWS technologies (WebApp, API, front door, Functions, Managed Instance, Compute, network, storage and data. Your passion for making things better and driving action with a sense of urgency is key along with bringing new thinking to challenge existing technology implementations and processes.

  • Conduct technical deep dives across infrastructure, applications, and databases to support root cause analysis and ensure high-performance, highly available solutions

  • Build relationships across teams

  • Understand the needs of our business and users

  • Apply principles of reliability and configuration management

  • Take a design-driven approach with creativity and innovation

  • Break down complex ideas into clear, everyday language

Required:

  • Strong experience in (at least one):

    • Azure: RGs, Web App/Web Job, Logic Apps, App Gateway, Azure Functions, Private Endpoints, SQL MIS, Traffic Manager, API, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, NSGs & Route Tables

    • AWS: EC2, VPC, SGs, Lambda, Beanstalk, Load Balancer, RDS, API Gateway, S3/FSx, Route 53, SNS/SQS, Snapshots, Key Management

    OS Expertise (at least one):

    • Windows Admin / Linux Admin

    Automation Skills (at least one):

    • PowerShell / Shell / Python

    Deployment Tools (at least one):

    • Azure DevOps (preferred) / Terraform / Git

    Additional Experience:

    • Migration: IAAS to PAAS, on-prem to cloud

    • Web technologies (IIS, web application behavior)

    • Git or similar repositories

    • Database technologies (MS SQL)

    • Monitoring, instrumentation, and alerting tools

    • Supporting mission-critical applications (incident and outage management)

    • Cost optimization in cloud environments

 Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science; Engineering or Equivalent
