Work you'll do

As the FICO Specialist you will lead and oversee all software development and enhancement projects, and support for SAP S/4 TAX process thread. You will guide the direction, operation, and maintenance for SAP S/4 & Thomson Reuters Onesource Indirect Tax Determination (TAX) Global support, including but not limited to SAP S/4 Tax configuration, Thomson Reuters SAP to Onesource interface (GlobalNext) configuration, Onesource indirect tax configuration, and Analysis for Office and Onesource reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute complex build activities, integrate designs across multiple technologies and projects.
• Design and manage a complex system testing environment. Confirm supportability of implementation plans.
• Assist clients with configuration design decisions, participate in client meetings on subject matter expertise as appropriate.
• Monitor compliance to standardized procedures and best practices and create new policies and processes as needed.
• Oversee complex decisions and make recommendations to customers/clients.
• Provide leadership with regular status updates and potential issues.
• Go-to person for any issues or items around indirect tax. Lead deployment discussions and activities.
• Work with offshore Technical Delivery Manager(s) to optimize the development resource model.
• Manage daily progress and status of deliverables on projects.
• Manage both internal teams and offshore vendor teams’ project delivery, plans, and ensure proper staffing.
• Responsible for defining and directing tasks of Specialists and development teams.
• Ensure that all project resources are focused on the effort they are aligned to.
• Promote effective teamwork and spirit of partnership.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP FICO, implementation, rollout, and support projects
• Must have experience in S4 HANA environment
• Expertise in New GL, AP, AR, Cost Center, and Profit Center accounting
• Should have hands on experience in conceptualization, design, and configuration in all the areas mentioned above
• In-depth knowledge in FI-SD integration
• Must have exposure to scheduling and monitoring batch jobs
• Must have experience in preparing functional specifications
• Must have experience in production support.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have experience in client facing role

Preferred:

• Exposure to resource related billing process
• Experience in Project Systems
• Experience In handling custom programs/ reports, providing requirements to developers
