Work you’ll do

Responsibilities:

• Configure and schedule SAP batch jobs/job chains in Redwood BPA
• Troubleshoot failed batch processes per guidelines
• Monitor and kill batch jobs in SAP S4 via SM37 and SM50 during troubleshooting
• Create time windows and submit frames to enable complex scheduling requirements
• Configure and use Active monitoring module for failures alerting
• Monitor Data load activities and recovered failures in Dev, Quality system as a part of unit testing
• Perform Workload distribution
• Assist with solving high-prioritized tickets regarding extractions, performance issues and data load failures
• Manage the master job schedule for SAP batch processes and other applications to facilitate delivery of accurate and timely reporting
• Monitor Business Objects Data Services (BODS)
• Configure dashboards and reports
• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Explore and implement efficiencies in the tasks and operational procedures
• Support multiple SAP Security tasks and projects after training

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems/Technology
• Thorough understanding of operations technology, terminology and processing methodologies
• Experience in SAP Basis/administration support role
• Knowledge on different SAP systems in landscape and data flow
• SAP ECC/SAP S4 batch jobs administration and scheduling
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and foster teamwork in others
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to “think outside the box” while identifying problems and developing creative solutions
• Excellent client service skills, identify and resolve common problems/requests

Preferred:

• Experience with Redwood BPA batch jobs administration and scheduling 
• Knowledge of SAP BI/ Business Objects Data Services (BODS)
• Experience Java Script or Python script
