Work you’ll do

 

The Senior Graphic Designer for the Asia-Pacific Studio assists Deloitte’s internal customers with graphic design projects ensuring client satisfaction with all services and deliverables. You will be responsible for delivering creative, brand-compliant, and timely designs. Key responsibilities include formatting and designing professional-level presentations, proposals, reports, marketing materials, and other corporate collaterals requiring excellent Adobe InDesign, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator skills. You will be closely working with offshore and onshore customers and collaborate with other designers across geos to deliver market ready high impact deliverables. Critical to this role is staying current with the latest design trends. 

  • Effectively interact with customers across geographies; to understand the scope and purpose of their requirements; and provide design solutions using Adobe InDesign, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver design solutions that have a high visual impact and stands out in the internal and external market, while adhering to Brand guidelines.
  • Proficient in designing a wide variety of print materials, including postcards, brochures (trifold, bifold, accordion etc.), flyers, booklets, banners, posters, and event collateral, as well as professional-level presentations, proposals, reports, social media cards and infographics. Experienced in preparing files for multiple print formats, ensuring alignment with professional print production standards and accurate color management.
  • Follow directions, manage multiple tasks, work with information/data from multiple sources, meet deadlines, and respond to urgent requests in a positive manner
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Develop subject matter expertise in Deloitte Brand Standards and ability to discuss brand nuances directly with customers
  • Advanced level design file setup and management
  • Produce highly creative graphic designs within an internal process-driven system, meeting client expectations for quality and creativity.
  • Operate in a deadline-driven environment and expectations on quality and turnaround time need to be met on all projects.

 

Requirements :

Years of experience:

  • Three to six years of experience in corporate graphic design, advertising Agencies, or Studios will be a plus. (Portfolio is mandatory and should include samples of video, motion graphic, print collaterals, marketing materials, and other design pieces that reflect capabilities).

Education:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline. (Desired: Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) / Bachelor of Design or Diploma in Graphic Design)

Required skills:

  • Advanced to Mastery level Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) skills and experience designing for both print and digital collaterals
  • Print knowledge: Advance level
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word). Ability to work with templates, styles, and experience of working within corporate identity/brand guidelines.
  • Experience in visual brand management (the visual brand architecture of logo architecture, typography, colors, imagery etc.)
  • Must possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and collaborate with Deloitte professionals at all levels.
  • Experience of working with customers/stakeholders across Americas/EMEA/APAC will be an added advantage.

Good to have skills:

  • Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign for e-publications, such as interactive magazines and digital brochures 
  • Expertise in developing advanced interactive PDFs in Adobe InDesign, leveraging JavaScript for enhanced user functionality and experiences 
  • Skilled in creating internal communications and newsletters using Microsoft Word 
  • Understanding of print production workflow, prepress processes, and working collaboratively with printers and vendors
  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for designing intuitive and visually engaging layouts for web and mobile platforms.
