The Deloitte Southeast Asia (SEA) Risk and Brand Protection (RBP) provides risk management support to Deloitte SEA business lines via high quality services from central locations. The Senior will work within the Deloitte SEA RBP and will be based in our Malaysia practice office. The individual will be working closely with Partners and other client-facing professionals, within Deloitte Southeast Asia, and will have frequent interactions with Country Risk Leaders (CRL), Business Risk Leaders (BRL), Independence Leaders, as necessary. Work you’ll do
- Execute quality control monitoring and testing processes of the Firm with respect to the client and engagement acceptance and continuance processes
- Review, monitor, and ensure the timely completion of the execution of testing programs
- Liaising with the individuals and reviewers involved, analyzing results and resulting matters to address
- Prepare draft reports and schedules resulting from testing work done
- Assist in handling critical/complex cases and know when to escalate and consult with Team Leaders
- Suggest ways to improve efficiency of process and turnaround time
- Able to handle questions and guide the team and/or internal stakeholders on applicable process and policies independently
- Demonstrates consistent optimism and commitment towards work challenges

Requirements
- Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in the risk/business management field or experienced assistants having 2-3 years the appropriate background and experience
- Ability to conduct research and analyse results
- Working with initiative within agreed processes, managing workload effectively, meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work within our team and across our business
- Experience in audit is an added advantage.
- A high level of IT user ability, including database entry and use. Time will be allowed for adaptation to in-house risk management tools
- Working/work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
- Highly motivated and disciplined
