You will report to SEA Chief Financial Officer and Country Finance Director and will lead the Finance department of the Delivery Center. You will be expected to have an overall knowledge and working experiences across multiple functional teams (Credit Control and Account Receivables, Account Payables, Client Service, Central supports, etc), to evaluate business issues, and ensure the finance and accounting information is properly recorded and timely submission to regulatory bodies.

Work you’ll do

  1. Lead the Finance team and oversee day-to-day finance, accounting, and administrative matters for the Delivery Center
  2. Supervise on daily operational/transactional processing to ensure the compliance of company standards of procedure & policies, relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements
  3. Timely submission of Annual Tax Computation, and the revision on tax installment plan periodically
  4. Timely submission of Service Tax filing
  5. Have understanding and knowledge of WHT
  6. Timely analysis, identification, communication, and resolution of balance sheet account reconciliation issues.
  7. Timely submission of Audited Financial Statements
  8. Liaise with external auditors and tax agents; and ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax, and statutory requirements.
  9. Coordinate with GFS Leads in ensuring proper maintenance of accurate, complete, and up-to-date accounting records of the entities and timely production of monthly Management Accounts and Reports.
  10. Works closely with leaders of other business functions to ensure that costs/revenue are recorded accurately and invoices are raised to the Memberfirm.
  11. Works closely with finance department within other Deloitte entities to ensure that all costs are captured/allocation correctly.
  12. Monitor and approve the weekly/monthly cashflow/payment planning and bi-weekly payments to vendors which also includes other Treasury matters such as approval/analysis of usage of any banking facilities
  13. Regularly track and resolve outstanding issues that have been escalated, or further escalate to the necessary parties.
  14. Responsible for monthly P&L accruals plan, cost allocations across all functions under the Delivery Center
  15. Analyse and present financial data, report, budget, business plans, etc. for forecasting cost and budget control
  16. Supports plan, budgeting and forecasting financial activities
  17. Facilitate, coach, mentor, and guide team members to ensure they deliver desired results
  18. Assist in any other ad-hoc projects or assignments which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  1. Degree in accounting or professional certificate such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  2. Minimum 8 years working experience in Finance & Accounting Inclusive 3 years audit experiences and team management experiences.
  3. Knowledge in SAP system, Service Tax, Withholding Tax, FP&A, Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing, Audit, and system migration would be an advantage.
  4. Able to handle high-volume data for analysis and reporting purposes
  5. Computer literacy and proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel
  6. Must be self-motivated and dynamic with strong desire to learn.
  7. Able to work independently, good team player and possess leadership skills.
  8. Willing to learn & resourceful, demonstrate positive attitude & adaptable.
  9. Strong communication skills, with good written and spoken English.
