Work you’ll do
- Assist with the provision of Incentives advisory and R&D tax advisory services to a portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries.
- Engage, together with the engagement team, with senior executives on their investment plans and liaise with government authorities on incentives matters.
- Be involved in the preparation, application, negotiation and management of government incentives.
- Have the opportunity to participate actively in client meetings to obtain details from technical specialists of R&D projects undertaken.
- Assist with the collection, collation and review of documentation and expenditure that substantiates R&D activities by matching the facts to the eligibility requirements of Singapore’s R&D tax regime.
- Prepare technical R&D project reports that articulate the nature and progress of R&D activities undertaken, including how and why these meet the R&D tax regime’s eligibility requirements.
- Partake in the development of a growing global practice.

Requirements
- Ideally possess tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Engineering, Science, IT or similar.
- Prior experience in economic agencies or roles involving incentives/grants applications will be viewed favourably.
- Professional Qualification in Tax/Finance preferred but not necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mind, meticulous skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Keen interest in developing in the tax industry in a professional services firm.
