USI T&I Cloud Managed Platform is responsible for automate, monitor, design and manage across CSP IaaS configuration which ensure consistency across integrated systems and increase efficiency. The Configuration Management team flexes to support business-lead software development while bring to bear best practices which streamline and fully automate the processes.

Configuration management is a system engineering process for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life. In your role as Azure Developer, you will be responsible for participation in selection and implementation of tools and processes which enable rapid development and deployment of configuration policies. Your mission is to embrace continuous integration/deployment in a delivery pipeline that will perform automated quality checks, provision cloud infrastructure and applications quickly, and provide operational tooling and metrics that can be consumed by stakeholder teams.

An ideal candidate for this role will have a blend of development and operational experience that provides them with a good understanding of the developers they are working with, while also balancing customer satisfaction and maintaining critical systems uptime.

In this role you will partner with peers in Cloud Platform teams, Developers, QA, Support and Operations teams to deliver a fully automated end-to-end application lifecycle management process.

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Develop, support and maintain applications and technology solutions.
• Strong automation skillsets using the automation tools.
• Ensure all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations. Applications should meet requirements of scope, functionality, and time and adhere to all defined and agreed upon standards.
• Ensure high quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
• Use team project management methodology and processes to development and test product features. Standard team development and testing tools will be used.
• Work on agile projects, participate in daily SCRUM calls and provide task updates.
• Develop supporting and other materials, as required.
• Develop and maintain internal project documentation.
• Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members.
• Demonstrate a strong working understanding of the industry best standards in software development and version controlling.
• Assist with project team duties as required from user story creation to development to deployment to application maintenance

Requirements

• Extensive experience with the .NET framework and other technologies: C#, Web API
• Expertise in designing and developing API using .Net, C# is preferable.
• Experience with using a broad range of Azure PAAS components, mainly from the list below: Azure Functions, Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, Azure Service Bus.
• Comprehensive understanding on Azure platform Management
• Exposure to creation and usage of ARM Templates
• Knowledge on IAM – Identity and Access Management
• Knowledge on APP Insights, Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Functions, Azure VM, Azure VNet, Azure SQL & Data Factory.
• Develop and maintain an Azure based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.

Education (degree): 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or relevant experience and accomplishments.
