Work you’ll do:

• The role requires the candidate to possess in-depth knowledge about the Sustainability/ESG landscape, including ESG Due Diligence & Materiality Assessment, Social Performance (modern slavery, human/labour rights etc), Sustainable Finance & Responsible Investment as well as Climate Risk Modelling and Management and/or Sustainability/ESG Reporting.
• The candidate will have the opportunity to support clients in delivering actionable Sustainability/ESG strategies while helping them manage their ESG transformation and implement initiatives based on industry best practices.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Economics, Law or STEM-related fields, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related qualifications.
• At least 3 years of experience in Board Advisory/Governance or Sustainability/ESG/Climate change consulting.
• Deep understanding of Board Advisory/Governance/Sustainability/ESG/Climate change issues, including relevant tools and frameworks.
• Extensive experience working and leading in a team-based environment.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong project management and personnel management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and regionally, as necessary.
• Has prior engagement in board advisory or environmental & social performance impact
  assessment.
• Conversant with regulatory standards such as Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance, Bursa's Listing Requirements, Companies Act.
• Familiar with the various reporting standards and frameworks including the GRI standards, SASB, CDP, TCFD and the ISSB’s proposed standards
