What You’ll Do
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Internal & External Communication: Support in developing communications for both internal and external audiences. Ensure messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with the firm’s objectives and strategic direction.
- Event & Program Management: Provide support for event and program management, including budget oversight, creative direction, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with Deloitte’s brand identity and communication standards. This will include end-to-end project management to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
- Executive Engagements: Provide support for firm-wide engagement programs, including initiatives such as Board Ready Women, CFO, and SheXO. Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing these programs to ensure smooth delivery.
- Social Media Management: Manage and support the overall social media strategy across relevant platforms. This includes curating posts, stories, and other digital assets where needed. Monitor engagement, ensure brand consistency, and align content with the key messaging of campaigns and events.
- Intranet Support: Support the management and enhancement of Deloitte Malaysia’s intranet by ensuring all pages are consistently updated with accurate, relevant, and engaging content. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information, publish announcements, and maintain key sections.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Experience: Experience in corporate communications, marketing, or branding, with a proven ability to plan and execute communications and branding initiatives.
- Communication Skills: A strong command of the English language, with good writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across a variety of communication channels.
- Event Management Experience: Provide support in the planning and execution of large-scale events and firm-wide programs, including logistics coordination, vendor liaison, onsite support, and post-event follow-up. Prior experience in event management is an advantage, though a strong willingness to learn and adapt will also be highly valued.
- Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of tasks, follow processes diligently, and proactively ensure smooth and efficient tasks.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Experience working in or with a professional services firm, particularly in marketing, communications, or branding roles.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for content management and analytics, such as Sprinklr and META for social media.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Canva and Excel.
- Possess foundational experience in event photography and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or other relevant photo editing tools.
