Malaysia Clients & Markets (C&M) Team (Kuala Lumpur – TTDI)

 

About the Team

Our Clients & Markets (C&M) team is both internal and external-facing. We are dedicated to serving our client-facing professionals and at the same time, we have to understand the marketplace and stay abreast of latest developments to help our firm to be proactive in addressing opportunities so that Deloitte can be a leader, not a follower.

 

Through the four streams of C&M - Brand, Clients, Industries and Communications, we provide a huge range of services from brand strategy, industries, internal and external communications to client strategy and proposal advisory, among others, that can help make our people more efficient, effective and successful.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with Business Leaders in identifying, executing and growing business development activities in line with Deloitte’s strategic business plans in winning and retaining strategic clients through client targeting programs, which includes market research and analysis.
  • Define and support eminence initiatives in Malaysia, developing overall program design, implementation and evaluation, drive required leadership engagement and support to achieve Malaysia’s strategic priorities across various business functions, industries, investor groups and programs.

 

Job Requirements

  • A recognised university degree
  • 10 years or more relevant working experience in leading and driving strategic business agenda, preferably from the professional practice environment
  • Experience in writing presentations and performing in pitch/proposal situations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively as a team
  • Good knowledge of research tools for analysis and a general understanding of database technology 
  • Experience in speech writing, event management and strategic partnerships
  • Strong business acumen and a good understanding of the professional practice market
  • Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken and confident in communicating effectively (both written and verbal) with senior management
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Conceptual thinking ability and pragmatic in execution
  • Analytical with high attention to detail
  • Agile, resourceful, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
