Work you’ll do
Responsible for supporting the enablement of the efficient and effective spend of Deloitte AP’s investment funds to enable profitable and sustainable growth, and supporting our pursuit of inorganic growth, including acquisitions and team hires, to grow and transform our business across Asia Pacific.
This role requires a high performing Senior Specialist to support the AP Investment and AP Corporate Development Leaders to help facilitate optimal and timely AP investment decisions, and to manage Corporate Development activities across all our AP geographies, businesses, and sectors.
Responsibilities
• Support the AP Investment Committee with the objective of ensuring investments enhance the strategic capability of the AP firm, are value accretive, are funded within the AP firm’s capital constraints and are effectively integrated.
• Support and enable the fair distribution of investment funding across the Geography, Business and Sector dimensions of Deloitte AP.
• Support the AP Investments and AP Corporate Development Leaders with managing the pipeline of potential Corporate Development opportunities across the region, evaluation and funding of proposed transactions, and the performance of completed transactions.
• Maintain up-to-date records of investment spends and funding balances for firms across the AP region.
• Coordinate planned investment spend as part of the annual business planning process across AP, ensuring alignment with Deloitte AP's Strategy across the Region.
• Work with the AP Chief Strategy and Innovation team to align investments to the Deloitte AP Strategy in conjunction with Geography, Business and Sector leads.
• Support the AP Investments and AP Corporate Development Leaders with the evaluation of strategic funding requests.
• Liaise with various stakeholders across the region to support the delivery of Deloitte AP’s objectives.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance or Accounting; advanced degree a plus
Years of Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience
Other Qualifications & Skills:
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• An aptitude for analysis and high degree of attention to detail including reconciliations
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines
