Work you’ll do

 

  • Manage a team of IT Security Engineers and report directly to the SEA Chief Information Security Officer.
  • Assists in developing, maintaining and updating policies, processes and procedures to comply with organizational requirements, ISO 27001 compliance requirements and information technology security best practices.
  • Perform routine and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including system and device security patch compliance status, user account activity, network resource, configuration, etc. and reports on compliance against vulnerability management requirements.
  • Prepare routine briefings and reports of the organization’s security posture as indicated by a wide range of information technology security tools.
  • Analyzes and monitors security violations, intrusion detection and vulnerability reports and collaborates with information technology staff across Southeast Asia to coordinate and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Leads incident investigations and mitigation activities (e.g., identify proper investigative approach, conduct interviews, evidence preservation, transportation, computer forensic analysis, and case management).
  • Participate in information security awareness and training initiatives to educate workforce about information risks; fostering a culture that considers information security in day to day operations.
  • Participate in global projects to enhance security posture.
  • Utilize established processes and tools to focus on threat identification, analysis, and remediation using a wide range of security technologies such as CASB, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, malware analysis, content filtering, data loss prevention, application firewalls and vulnerability scanners.

Requirements:

 

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Cloud Security, CEH, CompTIA Security+, ITIL v3, Microsoft Certified Professional, ISO27001 ISMS Lead Auditor certifications are preferred
  • CISM/CISA/CISSP certified candidates will have an advantage.
  • At least eight (8) years of information security related experience, in areas such as: security operations, incident analysis, vulnerability management, system patching, security event monitoring, security governance and compliance.
  • Strong, clear and effective oral and written English skills.
  • Experience with developing security policy, processes and procedures.
  • Ability to be effective in a team environment (across geographic locations), presenting issues, clearly explaining issues, and ability to come to an agreed upon resolution of the various security concerns/needs of the organization.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to learning, development and teamwork.  Emphasis will be placed on working with team resources and colleagues throughout the organization.
  • Strong leadership qualities, ability to identify the needs of the team through guidance and mentorship.
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to changing priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment, requiring flexibility and responsiveness to organizational security needs.
  • Well-developed analytic, qualitative, and reasoning skills with demonstrated problem solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of security practices, available technologies and current products.
