Deloitte Forensic is the pre-eminent forensic practice in Singapore and Southeast Asia and advice local, regional and global clients in the complex areas of Disputes, Discovery, Forensic Analytics, Forensic Investigations (including, fraud, corruption and misconduct), and Financial Crime Advisory.

 

Senior Consultant -  Forensic eDiscovery

 

Responsibilities
Our team of Forensic Discovery professionals work closely with clients and legal counsel to collect, preserve and analyse large and disparate data to support or refute the facts and allegations of commercial investigations and complex litigation. We leverage advanced investigative techniques and state-of-the-art technology to deliver effective solutions to our clients' complex legal issues.
Your role will include the following duties: 
•    Oversee the identification, collection and management of electronic data in support of engagements relating to electronic discovery (eDiscovery), legal support, forensic investigations and digital forensics.
•    Perform forensic collection and preservation from various sources, including but not limited to computer, server, mobile and cloud repositories. 
•    Perform processing, culling, review and hosting of electronic and hard copy data.
•    Provide support on Relativity and Brainspace workspaces, respond to the requirements and requests of internal and external stakeholders such as the investigations team, clients and external counsel.
•    Establish workflow to support efficient document review.
•    Provide accurate documents and review reports such as data processing and production.
•    Provide technical solutions for managing complex and large datasets.
•    Assist and coordinate document production where required.
•    Perform regular maintenance and upgrade of the Relativity server.
•    Collaborate with supervisors and engagement managers to receive guidance on case investigations and project progress.

Requirements


To qualify, candidates must have: 
•    Diploma or bachelor's degree holder preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science. 
•    At least 4 years of experience in Digital Forensic or eDiscovery.
•    Strong understanding of the forensic methodology and the use of forensic tools for evidence collection and preservation. 
•    Sound technical understanding of OpenText Encase, Magnet Axiom, Cellebrite and other forensic tools.
•    Sound technical understanding of Nuix or other processing tools.
•    Strong technical skills in administrating Brainspace and Relativity review platform.  
•    Ability to work under pressure.
•    Available for business travel across geographies on short notice.
•    Creative problem-solving abilities.
•    Sound written and oral communication skills.
•    Strong team-oriented work ethic with client centric focus.
•    Excellent analytical and investigative skills.


Desired skills and experience:
•    Experience or strong understanding of digital forensic, eDiscovery processes and methodologies.
•    Experience with Azure/AWS deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting.
•    Experience with scripting (e.g. SQL, Python). 
•    Experience in Big4 environment or a similar client-facing role. 


One or more of the following certifications or similar would be an advantage: 
•    Any relevant SANS certifications
•    Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA)
•    Relativity Certified User (RCU)
•    Any relevant Nuix Workstation certification
•    Any relevant Brainspace certification
•    Encase Certified Examiner (EnCe)
•    Magnet Certified Forensic Examiner (MCFE)
