Work you’ll do

 

  • Support the Business Risk Leader and SEA SR&T QRM team to develop and foster a consultative network for risk and reputation management matters, and to be a business enabler for the business

  • Serve as a central point of contact and a subject matter resource for risk management and quality matters, providing practical and timely advice to the business teams to manage risk, reputation and quality matters

  • Assist to develop QRM policies, guidelines, tools and templates to enable the business to work efficiently and effectively to deliver client engagements while maintaining compliance with reputation and risk management policies, as well as legal and regulatory requirements

  • Monitoring of compliance by the business with Deloitte Global policies and regulatory requirements across 8 jurisdictions

  • Involved in conducting thematic practice reviews on the SR&T business; and monitoring and review of internal policies and ISO requirements

  • Support timely, accurate and insightful reporting to senior leadership on pertinent risk, reputation and quality matters

  • Develop and deliver reputation and risk management learning and development programs for senior leadership and staff in SR&T to enhance awareness and understanding of QRM requirements

  • Collaborate with the Office of General Counsel and Legal team to identify and manage legal and contractual risks

  • Maintain pro-active horizon scanning on regulatory trends/developments, with potential impact to SR&T business

Requirements

  • Minimum experience range of 8 – 12 years of relevant professional service experience in internal audit, compliance, risk management or financial advisory. Experiences in similar role dealing with regulatory, policy and compliance are an advantage

  • Completed undergraduate degree, with a preference towards Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management or Law

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with English fluency

  • Ability to work independently and concurrently as a team player across different service offerings in the SEA region, enjoys interaction and communication with varying levels of stakeholders  

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail

  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a variety of topics and issues within the risk management field
