Work you’ll do

  1. Client Engagement:
    • Work with clients to understand their business requirements and objectives.
    • Provide expertise in identifying and addressing challenges.
    • Deliver presentations and demonstrations of solutions to clients.
  2. Solution Design and Implementation:
    • Requirement gathering and develop business solutions tailored to client needs.
    • Conduct testing and validation to ensure solutions meet client specifications.
  3. Technical Expertise:
    • Utilize knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and tools to provide effective solutions.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to clients.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve business issues as they arise during project execution.
    • Review data quality, conduct UAT and management documentation  
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with project managers, technical analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
    • Communicate functional concepts effectively to technical stakeholders.
    • Document functional processes, requirements, and solutions for future reference.
  5. Project Delivery:
    • Contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of clients.
    • Manage project risks and issues effectively.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
    • Provide feedback on project processes and methodologies.

Requirements

 

 

  • Degree in computer, information technology, or a related field
  • Professional certifications like GARP (FRM), PRM will be added advantage
  • At least 2-8 years of experience for above skillset in banking / financial industry domain
  • Strong domain and techno functional knowledge in banking risk management technology solution implementation - Basel, IFRS9, Liquidity, Credit Risk, ALM for banks in Malaysia / other region

  • Strong experience in vendor solution platform implementation (Oracle OFSAA, Moody’s, WKFS & SAS) in risk calculations & regulatory reporting space
  • Key Skill Set:-
    • Requirement gathering, development of business and technical requirements covering data elements, mapping, business rules & processes
    • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines & mapping to vendor technology solution
    • Data related activities - data quality, data mapping from source system to target system
    • End to end functional testing based on the regulatory guidelines (calculations, regulatory reporting)
    • Data analysis using SQL, PowerBI or other visualization tool
  • Experience with at least one end to end solution implementation experience for banking clients.
  • Solid experienced in Client management, project management, prepare & present the solutions to the clients.
