Work you will do

 

As a Talent Development Senior Specialist, you will be responsible to provide comprehensive, effective and timely learning solutions to all the different stakeholders as required by the business.

Focus on instructional design, build on learning and development materials in consultation with experts to support employee development.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Learning Management:

 

  • Internalize organization’s strategy and goals, identify capabilities required and provides learning solutions to achieve goals
  • Assess learning needs through surveys, interviews with employees or consultation with business leaders and HR business partners; develop specific programs to address learning gaps
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships, often bringing resources together to achieve learning objectives and share best-practice knowledge across the organization
  • Define curriculum to meet  business requirements and align with learning financial guidelines
  • Map out learning plans for the different levels of technical learning based on the Global Consulting Technical Curriculum
  • Develop and drive persuasive communication and effective marketing methods in educating employees on learning and development programmes as well as other relevant resources


Learning Facilitation:

 

  • Design and facilitate or scale existing onboarding/continuous learning content, lab exercises, presentations, and materials 
  • Develop and drive persuasive communication and effective marketing methods in educating employees on learning and development programmes as well as other relevant resources
  • Deliver learning to employees using different styles of learning techniques, including e-learning, virtual and face-to-face instructor led sessions or coaching


Learning effectiveness:

 

  • Assist in the evaluation of learning programs
  • Review and evaluate program efficiency; and provide recommendations and improvements
  • Track and report on learning outcomes
  • Provide feedback to program participants and management


Learning budget:

 

  • Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required learning
  • Monitor and review allocated budget spend


Admin:

 

  • Ensure all documentations are current to reflect current practice – all policies and procedures to be written and updated timely
  • Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring cost, scheduling classes
  • Maintain employee learning records via SABA Learning
  • Handle logistics for learning activities including venues, contracts, payments approval, equipment and materials printing
  • Coordinate off-site and in-house learning activities for employees including registrations and cancellations


Advisory Team and Vendor Management:

 

  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development
  • Teach and coach others to expedite knowledge transfer in the organization
  • Provide advisory services to employees and stakeholders. Provide guidance and expert advice on technical, systems and process related questions
  • Prepare Monthly Learning Dashboard report to respective Service Areas
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external learning suppliers and providers

If you are someone with:

  • Min 3 years working experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related  field
  • Proven experience in designing and facilitating in-house learnings for all levels
  • Adequate knowledge of  instructional design theory and learning principles
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management software
  • Familiar with the virtual learning facilitation
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Sound decision making and organisational skills
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
