Work you’ll do

For Global Employer Services service line, we are keen on recruiting candidates who are willing to fit into the roles outlined below and have the requisite qualification and acumen to assume responsibilities attached to the job.

 

  • You will assist our tax & immigration consultants to serve our clients in relation to the following tasks :

  • Provide high quality client service and support for clients’ international assignment programmes
  • Manage individual tax compliance matters for client which includes preparation of tax computations and tax returns and addressing employer and employee obligations
  • Immigration support which includes preparation of immigration documentations and applications
  • Drafting of correspondences for engagement team’s liaison with clients and individuals to gather necessary information.
  • Where required and under guidance of engagement team, to liaise with the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on various administrative procedures, including but not limited to following up on tax filing/ appeal status, tax refund status etc. 
  • Handling of various administrative tasks relating to the management of engagement, including but not limited to tracking of engagement status via various technology tools, drafting of bills, etc. 
  • Have a clear overview on ongoing cases and manage escalations timely and professionally
  • Basic reporting of tasks assigned (where appliable)
  • Any other ad hoc matters where necessary.

Requirements

 

  • Diploma / STPM / A’Level holders from related commerce background from recognised universities or Professional Qualification (ACCA/MIA/MICPA) with strong academic credentials to date (CGPA 3.2 and above) who are keen to explore taxation & accounting as a long term career. 
  • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work with speed and accuracy
  • Able to work with tight datelines and good time management skills
  • High level of integrity and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to demonstrate familiarity using Microsoft Office applications
  • A team player with good interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Candidates should be able to exhibit excellent project management, presentation and organisational skills along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
