Work you’ll do
- Work with Malaysia Tax & Legal Leader, Southeast Asia Tax & Legal Quality & Risk Leader and Team to execute quality and risk plan and strategies, and where required, execution of Asia Pacific quality and risk initiatives;
- Assist to develop policy, processes, tools and templates to enable T&L professionals in Malaysia to work efficiently and effectively to deliver client engagements while maintaining compliance with reputation and risk management policies, as well as legal and regulatory requirements;
- Develop and foster a consultation network and intelligent risk culture within the T&L practice in Malaysia;
- Review legal documents on daily basis such as contracts, NDA, engagement letters, bidding documents, as well as communicate with clients’ legal team and manage arising contractual risks;
- Assist in reviewing client and engagement acceptance and risk assessment process on daily basis;
- Compliance monitoring and involvement in practice reviews, ISO certification’s implementation process and other firms’ monitoring programs;
- Assist to identify, develop and deliver reputation and risk management learning programs to all T&L professionals;

Requirements
- A graduate in Bachelor Degree preferably majoring in Law
- At least 5 years of professional service experience with at least 2 years in a managerial position. Experience in a similar role in a regulated industry would be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure, multi-tasking and can manage tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong attention to details.
- Ability to work across different businesses, geographies and in a cohesive team environment.
- Able to travel when required.
