Work you'll do:
As a Genesys Cloud Developer, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to design and implement customer engagement solutions, integrations, and workflow automations within the Genesys Cloud CX platform.
You will play a key role in delivering seamless end-to-end customer experience across voice and digital channels through advanced IVR design, chatbot enablement, workflow orchestration, and API-based integrations.
Integration & Customer Experience Solutions

Design, build, and optimize complex omnichannel interactions and IVR call flows utilizing Genesys Cloud Architect
-
Design and develop advanced agent scripting
-
Develop and maintain robust integrations connecting Genesys Cloud with enterprise systems like CRM platforms (Salesforce and MS D365) using REST APIs, Webhooks, and custom Data Actions
-
Build event-driven integrations using webhooks, triggers, and workflow automation capabilities across customer service ecosystems
-
Development and configuration of modern AI features including Genesys Dialog Engine Bots (Digital and Voice), Agentic Virtual Agents, Conversational AI bots, and digital engagement integrations

Develop serverless extensions using Genesys Cloud Functions (Node.js) where required
-
Develop custom applications, extensions, and platform enhancements where required
-
Support CI/CD-enabled deployment approaches using CX as Code and Archy (where applicable)

Understand capabilities such as Embeddable Framework, Client Apps, and Process Automation triggers
Technical Solution Delivery

Translate functional and business requirements into technical solution designs
-
Participate in solution architecture discussions and technical design workshops
-
Produce technical specifications, integration documentation, and deployment guides
-
Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution
-
Support deployment activities and production stabilization
-
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with platform best practices
Collaboration & Consulting

Work closely with implementation consultants, architects, CRM teams, and client stakeholders
-
Provide technical recommendations and best practices for scalable customer experience solutions
-
Participate in client workshop, technical discovery sessions, and technical demonstrations
-
Support effort estimation, technical planning, and delivery governance activities
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end contact centre transformation programmes
