Work you'll do
- Provide end-to-end support in the implementation of a new general insurance core system, applying industry insights and best practices in insurance operations.
- Lead and facilitate business requirements gathering across policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, reinsurance, and reporting. Ensure functional specifications accurately address the operational needs of the insurance business.
- Partner with business users to validate system capabilities through workshops, walk-throughs, and testing sessions; provide feedback on solution design and identify operational impacts.
- Support the design and execution of operating models, processes, and controls aligned to insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Oversee UAT planning and execution to ensure business scenarios are thoroughly tested and that system outcomes align with operational expectations.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues and ensure clarity of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide quality assurance on project deliverables, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with agreed business objectives.
- Develop trusted working relationships with client stakeholders, particularly across operations, underwriting, claims, and finance teams.
- Coach junior team members and promote knowledge transfer within the project team to build insurance operations capability.

Requirements:
- A good honors Degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Business, Insurance, Actuarial, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines.
- Senior consultant will require a minimum of 5 years of experience in Insurance industry or management consulting.
- Experience in advisory or implementation in the following areas for Insurance business will be a plus:
- Insurance Core system
- Insurance Operations: Underwriting, Endorsement, Claims, Reinsurance
- Insurance Transformation: program and project management advisory
- IT Strategy: IT strategy development, IT governance, IT operating model, enterprise architecture
- Understanding of current Insurance technology trends will be a plus (Gen AI or agentic AI, big data, RPA, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, be self-motivated, and be able to work in stressful situations with changing priorities
- Excellent problem solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines
- Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented
- Proven demonstration of sound business acumen, teamwork and leadership qualities.
