Work you’ll do
Futures Trade Capture | Analyst
The Futures Trade Capture analyst is responsible for ensuring executed trades are cleared and booked on top day and all required positions are reported accurately to exchanges and regulators.
He/She will provide support to Future Operations in respect of the following work tasks:
Responsibilities:
- Monitor top day trade clearance covering markets globally.
- Perform trade allocations and research any allocation issues with external brokers and internal traders.
- Monitoring Give ups/ins as well as T1 out trades.
- Respond to queries from Trades and clients. Follow up on unallocated top day trades.
- Manage lifecycle events on Futures and Options.
- Option Expirations and early exercise and Assignments requests for all exchanges.
- Perform open interest and large trader position adjustments at the exchanges with CME FEC and ICE-ECS portals.
- Ensure all Point Balance and Carry-Broker reconciliations are performed and breaks are researched and resolved.
- Perform Top day and T1 position close outs at all exchanges and carry brokers
- Manage physical delivery of products such as Metals and Fixed income.
Margin & Cash Management | Analyst
Provide support on Margin Specialist Clearing Operations, in particular, supporting margin settlements with clients for both Futures and OTC Clearing, and providing support to futures operations in respect of the following work tasks:
- Manage daily margin calls to clearing organizations (CCP) such as CME and ICE
- Research and resolve breaks facing banks, custodians and clearing orgs.
- Coordinate collateral allocation between clients and CCP’s and various custodial locations.
- Review margin calls to end clients. Book client settlements, transfers, journals, foreign exchange transactions.
- Ensure margin calls are met promptly and in accordance with all rules and regulations.
- Run exception reports such as the aged margin, residual interest calculation, concentration calculation and remaining margin
- Book manual cash payments.
- Perform Top day bank reconciliation to ensure all margin is booked and all settlements and origin transfers are settled at the bank.

Requirements

- Graduate of any 4-year Bachelor's degree
- Strong Client Services experience
- Has 3-5 years of working experience with Futures or cleared swaps
- Has a strong understanding of process, products, exchanges and rules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent understanding of Operational risk, procedures and controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Open to temporary (contractor) to permanent hire arrangement
- Willing to work in a hybrid setup (Quezon City based)
