Work you will do

You will be responsible for delivering solid solutions to complex problems and work with our clients to provide consistent high-quality code, including:

• Designing and developing rich user interfaces for performance-critical mobile applications, utilising cutting edge technologies
• Being the conduit between business, technology and creative disciplines, with an ability to work with a medium to large team to deliver successful product projects
• Being adept and quickly evolving from fuzzy problems to working solution prototypes while being across the current and future state of digital technologies

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• You live, love, and breathe Mobile Development. You have delivered solid solutions to complex problems and are able to provide consistent, high-quality code. To be awesome in this role you will have:

• Minimum 7 years of experience building and maintaining native Android apps using the Kotlin programming language
• Proficiency with modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and dependency injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger/Koin)
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Jetpack libraries (Navigation, Room, WorkManager, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous and reactive programming
• Experience rolling out apps to the Google Play Store, including release management and app signing
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, MockK, Jetpack Compose testing) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise, or CircleCI)
• Attention to building secure, performant, and user-friendly apps, with a strong grasp of profiling and optimization tools
• Familiarity with cloud services and APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Firebase, AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Exposure to cross-platform development (Flutter, React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform) or front-end web technologies (React, TypeScript) is a plus but not required
• A self-motivated, problem-solving mindset with ownership of outcomes
• Strong presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide teams toward high-quality deliveries
