What You'll Do 

• Work with development teams to automate their build, test, packaging and deployment procedures to provide a pipeline deployment capability into production. 

• Create Continuous Integration build and deployment plans 

• Collaborate with development teams to provide improved delivery tools and support their activities 

• Co-ordinate with development teams and environment team to provision required environments. 

• Support existing development and deployment tools and build new ones where required. 

• Troubleshoot deployment issues and infrastructure issues that impact development teams' delivery capabilities. 

What You Have 

• At least 5 years working as developer or DevOps combined 

• Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies and popular toolsets 

• Demonstrated experience in driving DevOps culture and solutions throughout the software development lifecycle 

• Experience working in an agile software delivery team or agile operations team 

• Prior experience Build Engineering, Automated Deployments & Testing, Infrastructure, Environment Management and Configuration, and Release Management 

• Solid knowledge of development languages or scripting languages 

• Wide industry knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, from both a software development and infrastructure / operations point of view 

• Demonstrated strong problem solving and critical thinking 

• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks 

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills 

• Experience presenting or talking to groups of varied sizes and skill level 

• Enthusiasm, commitment and self-direction 

Preferred skills: 

• Configuration Management tools (Ansible preferred, Puppet, Chef) 

• Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Cloudformation, vSphere APIs) 

• Exposure to either python or ruby Experience with AWS 

• Familiar with Infrastructure as code movement 

• Experience with designing scalable processes and infrastructure 

• Experience with migration of workloads to AWS 

Technical Requirements 

• Thorough knowledge in Windows 10 and/or above Operating Systems 

• Solid experience in Windows networking and hosting 

• Strong Windows 2008/12 Administration/Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, AWS Linux) 

• Solid grasp of Amazon Web Services 

• EC2 / RDS / S3, Security Groups,VPC, Subnetting,Route53 

• Terraform or Cloudformation, AutoScaling 

• Database administration (MySQL/MS SQL) 

• Automation toolsets 

• Good Scripting Skills (Python or NodeJS) 

• AWS Certifications is a plus
