Work you will do

 

Deloitte’s Engineering offers help to enable organization’s end-to-end journey from on-premise legacy systems to the cloud, from design through deployment, and leading to the ultimate destination—a transformed organization primed for growth.

As Observability Engineer, you will:

 

Service Reliability, Availability, and Performance

  • Champion Observability in adherence to technology strategy. Conduct a gap assessment and assist in developing a strategic uplift roadmap.
  • Proactive configuration/improvement of monitoring and log analysis tools such as Dynatrace, Log Analytics, and App Insights to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • User observability tools to proactively monitor, identify, and raise potential issues with the right stakeholder for RCA and resolution.  
  • Identify opportunities for automating operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.

 

Production readiness

  • Proactive assessment and identification for CI/CD improvement opportunities
  • Proactive assessment and identification of release artefact handover process improvement opportunities

 

Incident Management and Response

  • Participates in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews and drives continuous improvement efforts based on findings.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Incident Management and Systems & Network Operations (Help Desk)
  • Dynatrace Associate Certification (or higher) preferred
  • Solid expertise in Log Analytics, Dynatrace, and Application Insights
  • Strong grasp of both Cloud and On-Premises Data Center Infrastructure
  • Additional Dynatrace knowledge is a definite plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
