Work you’ll do
As an Assistant Manager, you should be able to serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams to perform advisory services to our valued clients in the Financial Services Industry. You will be executing and leading various financial risk advisory services:
- IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss Modelling and Validation
- Capital adequacy assessment and planning
- Risk and Capital Stress Testing
- Basel (Credit Risk, Market & Liquidity Risk, and Operational Risk)
- Asset and liability management (ALM)
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Derivatives pricing model development/validation
- Other regulatory/compliance related advisory services
Primary responsibilities
- Engagement deliverable execution
- Serve a client facing point person
- Assist in the engagement planning and preparation
- Assist in the design and development of new product offerings
- Assist in the design and development of new processes and procedures
- Collaboration with senior team members
- Coaching and development of junior team members

Requirements
Degree holder from the following undergraduate and/or graduate programs:
- Economics
- Finance
- Math
- Statistics
- Data Science
- Management of Financial Institutions
- Accountancy
The following additional certifications and/or technical skills are preferred:
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), any level
- Financial Risk Manager (FRM), any level
You need to have a professional experience of at least 3 years in one or more of the following areas:
- Financial risk modelling and/or advisory
- Risk management for financial institutions (credit risk, market & liquidity risk, stress testing)
- Capital adequacy assessment and planning for financial institutions
- Investment portfolio management for financial institutions
- Compliance and AML for financial institutions
- Working knowledge in local/regional banking regulations
- Working knowledge in IFRS 9 – Financial Instruments, IFRS 17 – Insurance Contracts, other relevant accounting standards
Other necessary skills:
- Strong quantitative background (combination of programming and mathematics)
- Deep understanding of modelling techniques and practical experience in risk modelling (e.g, credit risk, market & liquidity risk, interest rate risk operational risk, capital planning, stress testing)
- Practical experience in programming language (e.g., R, SAS, Python, SQL, VBA, etc.)
- Experience in data analytics and data visualization
- Strong presentation skills and proficiency in the use of MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both in a team as well as independently
- Strong command of the English language
- Experience in project management
