Work you’ll do
 

As an Associate, you should be able to serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams to perform advisory services to our valued clients in the Financial Services Industry. You will be executing the delivery for various financial risk advisory services on:

  • IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss Modelling and Validation
  • Capital adequacy assessment and planning
  • Risk and Capital Stress Testing
  • Basel (Credit Risk, Market & Liquidity Risk, and Operational Risk) 
  • Asset and liability management (ALM)
  • Enterprise Risk Management
  • Derivatives pricing model development/validation
  • Other regulatory/compliance related advisory services

 

Primary responsibilities

  • Engagement deliverable execution
  • Serve a client facing point person
  • Assist in the development of new product offerings
  • Collaboration with senior team members

Requirements

 

 

What You’ll Need:

 

Degree holder from the following undergraduate and/or graduate programs:

  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Math
  • Statistics
  • Data Science
  • Management of Financial Institutions
  • Accountancy

 

The following additional certifications and/or experience is a plus:

  • Internship with a financial institution
  • Internship with programming application
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), any level
  • Financial Risk Manager (FRM), any level

 

No professional working experience required but should have an appreciation of working with the Financial Services Industry.

 

Other relevant skills:

  • Quantitative background (combination of programming and mathematics)
  • Practical experience in programming language (e.g., R, SAS, Python, SQL, VBA, etc.)
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both in a team as well as independently
  • Strong command of the English language
