Work you’ll do
 

Responsibilities

 

    • Participate directly in the performance of tax compliance procedures focusing on complex, specialized issues. 
    • Review work performed by the engagement team to ensure that appropriate tax and corporate laws were applied to all engagements.
    • Identify areas of potential technical issues that may affect the engagement. 
    • Consult with industry and subject matter experts, as necessary, on complex issues.
    • Develop sound planning skills and administrative routines to ensure engagements run efficiently. 
    • Monitor the status of engagement team deliverables. 
    • Manage key accounts and other accounts. Effectively manages to budget time and resources and implement timely billings and collection initiatives. 
    • Deliver quality service efficiently and within the agreed budget.
    • Manage client expectations about deliverables, timing and how the engagement approach matches client needs. 
    • Control projects and engagements and deals with clients on scope and fee matters. 
    • Maintain beneficial client relations.
    • Form network of internal and external business contacts that includes members of industry organizations and key personnel of clients and non-clients. 
    • Know about the firm and its service lines and networks with the right people.
    • Identify potential accounts.
    • Work with the team to set clear goals and objectives and ensures that all team members understand these. 
    • Keep the team focused on achieving objectives and working in an efficient and effective manner.
    • Assist team members in fulfilling their career objectives by conducting meaningful and timely performance reviews. 
    • Provide feedback to engagement team members on performance deficiencies and assists them in addressing such deficiencies.
    • Participate in firm wide training activities as an instructor or a resource speaker.
    • Continue to develop technical and industry expertise consistent with the firm’s professional development program. 
    • Receive and accept constructive feedback from team members, peers, and superiors as inputs to improving one’s personality and professional capabilities.
    • Enforce and comply with all applicable firm policies and procedures. 
    • Adhere with the code of conduct as well as with the firm’s Code of Conduct and Discipline.

Requirements

 

 

  1. Education. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.

 

 

 

  1. Work Experience. Three to five years working experience related to the field.

 

  1. Certifications. Certified Public Accountant.

 

  1. Other Qualifications.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
