Work you'll do

This role sits within the Technology, Strategy & Transformation team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, focused on design and implementation of banking platforms.

In this role you shall be responsible for the following:

• Support the functional/stream lead in end-to-end platform implementation across assigned modules, with a strong focus on technical execution.
• Develop and apply deep hands-on knowledge of platform parameterization, configuration frameworks, and rule engines within core banking modules (e.g., onboarding, payments, lending, compliance).
• Build and support system integrations using APIs, messaging, or file-based interfaces; assist with interface mapping, error handling, and performance tuning.
• Assist in defining and executing data migration strategies, including data mapping, transformation logic, validation rules, and reconciliation controls.
• Configure system parameters and custom components, ensuring alignment with solution design and non-functional requirements.
• Execute and support functional, system, and integration testing (SIT/UAT), including test data preparation, defect analysis, and resolution.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across configuration, scripts, and integrations, escalating complex risks and dependencies to senior team members.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in a technology or business discipline with a well ranked institution.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technology and transformation at consulting firms or for a leading bank

• Experience across implementation, enhancement, and release upgrade cycles of enterprise systems

• Gain practical experience by supporting the delivery of enterprise or core banking technology solutions, assisting with tasks such as scripting, data preparation, testing, documentation, and configuration across modules such as onboarding, accounts, payments, lending, and compliance, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards

• Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, be self-motivated, and be able to work in stressful situations with changing priorities
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines
