Work you'll do
This role sits within the Technology, Strategy & Transformation team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, focused on design and implementation of banking platforms.
In this role you shall be responsible for the following:
• Recognized as a SME in multiple functional modules [e.g., client onboarding, portfolio management, investment products, compliance], with proven experience in solution design, delivery, and stakeholder alignment.
• Supporting stakeholders to clarify requirements, articulate problem statements, assess dependencies and constraints, and align priorities among diverse groups.
• Working with various stakeholders, running workshops and liaison person of clients and project team.
• Provide hands-on support in technical discussions related to configurations, customizations, integrations, and data migration strategy.
• Familiarity with scripting, parameterization, and integration.
• Drive quality assurance including SIT/UAT planning, defect triage, and go-live readiness.
• Track budget, effort, and resource utilization; provide regular status updates to Deloitte leadership as well as for all engagement governance forums as agreed with the client.
• Tracking overall progress and making adjustments as needed to keep the delivery on track
• Identify risks and issues, surface them to the program leadership and work with stakeholders to identify and execute mitigation actions
• Support end user training, cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization efforts.

Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in a technology or business discipline with a well ranked institution.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in technology and transformation at consulting firms or for a leading bank
• Experience in full-cycle implementations of enterprise systems for medium or large sized banks
• Delivery experience with clients in SEA is preferable
• Extensive experience in implementing enterprise‑scale banking platforms, integrating core modules for Client onboarding, Investment Products, Portfolio Management, Advisory tools, and Compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of broader core banking technology landscape
• Understanding of the new age solution provider landscape and their capabilities across banking.
• Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources.
• Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams to shape up and deliver new opportunities.
• Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
• Commitment to professional excellence, as well as personal and professional growth.
• Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
• An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a prerequisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
• Nice to have - Industry-recognized certifications in enterprise or domain-specific platforms, indicating advanced configuration or customization capabilities
