Work you’ll do

Deloitte’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) industry group brings together one of the world’s largest pools of deep industry experts – respected for helping shape some of the world’s most recognized TMT brands and helping companies of all shapes and sizes thrive in a digital world.

This role sits within the Operations Transformation team of Deloitte Southeast Asia. You’ll work alongside our clients to help them make decisions and implement solutions based on "Heart of the Business" strategy development to drive business value. You will have the opportunity to exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the chance to solve complex problems and communicate your findings. Finally, you will work independently and collaboratively in a team.

You’ll support our clients in their transformation journey by:

• Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work.
• Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues.
• Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports.
• Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products.
• Assessing restructuring operating models, organizational structures, and business processes to streamline core operations’ service delivery.

In addition, you will also be focused on the semi-conductor industry, specifically:

• Support business development and new client acquisition to expand our Semiconductor practice
• Responsible to run Semiconductor industry projects independently, leading the various teams and driving the business impact of projects
• Work directly with Senior Executive stakeholders on their most important initiatives
• Developing and growing the semiconductor focused consulting team

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You are someone with:

• The ideal candidate would be familiar with the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record of successfully developing and executing business improvement initiatives
• Bachelor Degree or above, advanced degree preferred
• Overall 15 years of professional experience, including prior or existing consulting experience at a Senior Manager level or above
• Knowledge/ expertise in one of the following:
  • Semiconductor Design and/or Development
  • Wafer fabrication
  • Semiconductor assembly and test
  • Semiconductor capital equipment
• Background in one of the following:
  • Overall operational transformation programs / projects
  • Product development operations
  • Manufacturing operations
  • Supply chain planning or operations
  • Customer management / order management operations
• Familiarity with common enterprise IT systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing (MES, planning, supply chain, etc.), able to communicate easily with both technical and business leaders
• Proven experience effectively prioritising workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
• Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
• An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
• Willingness to work outside of office base
