Work you’ll do
Deloitte's Assurance and Advisory provide audit, accounting and regulatory advice, attest and attest-related services. Using robust audit tools, resources and methodology, our professionals work closely with clients to deliver high-quality services and solutions. We also advise clients in areas such as initial public offerings, internal controls, Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards, US GAAP and regulatory compliance.
You will help the Advisory team to:

Assist in preparation for seminars and workshops on new and revised accounting standards for companies to understand the recent development in the IFRS standards and the impact of the changes to their companies

Assist in International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) projects like first time implementation of IFRS for entities, which involves evaluating the potential impacts of IFRS, preparing a detailed implementation plan

Assist in the preparation of group accounting manuals/group reporting packages as a vital part of the internal controls system within the group financial reporting framework to achieve consistency in accounting and presentation.

Use appropriate computer applications in business to gather, to analyse and to present information including databases, networks and intranets (includes Powerpoint, Factiva, industry-related databases).

Requirements
We are looking for accountancy undergraduates with the passion for financial reporting standards and assistance with project delivery of projects in relation to the above.
