The AP Tax & Legal Clients and Industries (AP Tax & Legal C&I) team within Deloitte AP Tax & Legal is responsible for driving growth and alignment within the Deloitte member firm network to deliver a consistent experience and the very best of Deloitte across the network to our AP Priority clients and strategic sectors in AP. The goal is to serve our clients and sectors with quality and distinction and make a measurable, tangible, and attributable impact. 

An exciting opportunity exists to join the AP Tax & Legal Clients & Industries team. You will be working with AP Tax & Legal C&I Leadership, Regional Tax Service Line Leaders and the Regional Tax Sector Leaders to support the execution of our clients and industries tax strategy.  Our strategy is focused on enabling our GLTP's to be successful in the market place, driving bold plays and go to market campaigns, and building our brand and eminence through publications, conferences and other platforms.

This role will report directly to the AP Tax & Legal C&I Leader, Chris Roberge.  It is an ideal role for a versatile, top performing, experienced Sr. Manager who would like to gain experience working with the AP organization, build a global network, and develop significant understanding of our Priority Accounts. It offers a unique opportunity to grow strategic planning and advisory skills, enhance operations management capabilities, and understand planning and execution of regional strategies. This role would ideally be a permanent transfer, but we are also open for an initial 18-24 month secondment with the opportunity to extend or change to permanent transfer. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support AP Tax & Legal C&I leader to drive the execution of AP Tax & Legal C&I business plan.
  • Assist in the leading and management of bold plays and market offering opportunities within AP tax ecosystem 
  • Support AP Tax & Legal C&I planning by working with strategic sector leaders and their supports, facilitating planning process, and managing centralized planning outputs for discussion and alignment
  • Support AP Tax & Legal C&I Leader's weekly and monthly meetings, prepare meeting materials as needed, facilitate meeting logistics, and track on the follow-up actions 
  • Manage all AP Tax & Legal C&I programs including Priority Account Programs, Strategic Sectors Program, Client Leadership Empowerment & Development Program, Brand & Marketing, Dbriefs, etc. 
  • Lead the team to conduct revenue and pipeline analysis, produce high quality reports for Priority Account Program, Strategic Sectors Program, Wins and Pipeline, and track top Wins and Pipelines on a regular basis 
  • Coordinate with AP Pursuits Funding team to manage the tax related Pursuit Funding
  • Work with pursuit teams to assist in pursuits regarding member firm statistics, credentials, prior proposals, review of proposals etc.
  • Coordinate with Global C&I team to make sure of the alignment of our strategy, initiatives and actions with global

•    Education: 

- Bachelor’s Degree 

- Advanced degree in business administration preferred 

•    Years of Experience: 
- A minimum of 8-10 years of work experience that demonstrates superior management, communication, analysis and implementation experience 
- Demonstrated confidence in internal client relationship and leadership management in a professional services environment 


•    Other attributes: 
- "Fast and self-driven learner” with ability to grasp heart of the business issues.
- Self-starter with ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and deal with ambiguity 
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and thorough execution 
- Strong understanding of DTTL and/or member firms’ client and industry programs 
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
- Excellent written and oral communications skills 
- Capable of building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business areas, functions, and geographies 
- Client service experience preferred 
- Ability to develop internal executive level presentations
