Work you’ll do

The strategic client account manager will be responsible for supporting the Lead Client Service Partner in two key accounts in Southeast Asia in the financial services industry. The role serves as the liaison between the service delivery teams, regional account teams and the strategic relations team and is expected to support many, if not all, of the following key account activities, including:

•    Front office client relationship management
•    Account management and planning
•    Relationship management
•    Opportunity management and tracking
•    Account teaming
•    Account marketing
•    Financial management
•    Account administration

 

Responsibilities

•    Help the Lead Client Service Partner and account team drive and execute the team’s account strategy (e.g. client service plan, relationship map, client feedback) and facilitate follow-up sessions to monitor progress
•    Maintain a 360-degree view of all touch points between Deloitte member firms and the client
•    Facilitate the team’s opportunity and proposal management activities
•    Work with team members to build/strengthen relationships with key client contacts
•    Facilitate account team communications (video conferencing, team meetings, etc.) and follow-up on actions
•    Understand firm services and service line offerings and applicability to the account
•    Build strong connections with other member firms serving the account as necessary
•    Leverage strong knowledge of Deloitte intellectual property and organisation to identify initiatives, events, and services that can bring value to the team and the overall client relationship
•    Develop an account marketing plan for the account team that incorporates industry and function
•    Personalise firm collateral to support the positioning and differentiation of Deloitte
•    Produce advanced financial/revenue analysis reports for the account team
•    Build appropriate relationships with identified client procurement resources

Requirements

•    Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or other related discipline 
•   Minimum five (5) years of account management, sales/business development, or consulting experience. Client service experience and/or professional services industry experience is a plus.
•    Strong program/project management experience, specifically working with matrix reporting structures
•    Proven ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
•    Ability to develop and secure relationships with senior management
•    Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
•    Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management
•    Ability to connect colleagues across the organization through effective networking
•    Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•    Team-oriented with the ability to work with colleagues virtually
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•    Detail oriented with ability to adapt to changing environment
•    Self-starter, energetic, enthusiastic, and organized
•    Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
