Work you’ll do

 

  • Support senior team members in delivering Financial Industry Risk & Regulatory advisory projects, including compliance and/or risk governance framework, policies, methodologies, tools, and systems assessment/design/implementation
  • Work in collaborative teams to analyze Client’s issues and to interview key personnel
  • Liaise with Client’s executives and external banking professionals as required
  • Advise financial services clients such as banks/asset management companies/payments/fintech companies on areas relating to compliance and/or financial risks.
  • Provide regulatory advice on areas such as licensing, regulatory reporting, compliance framework development/enhancements, financial risk management framework development/enhancements, and implementation of regulatory change.

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with financial institutions or banks, preferably in the area of regulatory compliance and/or financial risk management
  • Good knowledge of the Singapore financial industry (e.g. business activities, strategic dimension, key challenges, regional players, etc)
  • Understanding of and experience in either: 
  • Singapore financial regulatory requirements, including banking, capital markets, financial advisory, and/or payment services.
  • financial risk management industry-leading practice and prudential risk regulations, including BCBS 239 (risk data) as well as Basel III (e.g. IRB, ICAAP), from the perspectives of both technical impacts (e.g. quantitative elements, methodologies, and models) and business implications (e.g. governance, processes, systems, profitability)
  • Technical understanding of risk data systems and environment, i.e. data taxonomy, data lineage, and data quality management is a bonus
